Hi, I'm Tia, the lady behind the blog. My hubby is Matt, aka Mr. Heisel Rules. And the one that really rules this place is Henry! He joined us in October 2013 and our home has not been the same since!
Matt is from the North and I'm from the South, but the Army has us stationed in Kansas currently. We love the area so far, but we know that a move is always on the horizon.
I started this blog in 2010 when Matt was deployed to Afghanistan. At the time, I used this as a way to update family and friends on how he was doing, and I have enjoyed watching it evolve into a blog about our family-highlighting recipes we love, DIY projects, home decor, and of course Henry!
I enjoy writing, crafting, decorating, photography, cooking, and much more! I hope you check back often for updates! :)
